わたしたちの原点はニットでした。
そこにあらためて立ち戻り、見直し、今の生活に落とし込んでいく。
年齢を重ねるごとに着心地の良いものに惹かれ、素材の特性や肌触りにフォーカスするようになったのですが、
着心地の良さとは自分の身体に向き合う中で生まれるものだと実感しました。
そうした考えから、伸縮性があり動きやすいニットウェアが、自然とコレクションの中心になりました。
自分の個性を引き出すように、身体に合わせて伸縮し着心地はやさしい。
糸をつくる際の原料は数種に絞り、ものの質感と色味を揃える。
ひとつの糸から編み方やゲージの変化により様々な表情を生み出し、
同じ原料でも糸の構成を変え、糸の表情をさらに引き出していく。
一部に、繊細なニットの質感に触れられる手編みを加え、モダンクラフトに取り組んだ。
手編みによって生まれるものの揺らぎは美しく温かい。
日々を大切に過ごしている身近な人たちにむけて、
型数は少なく1人のために1シーズン分のワードローブを丁寧につくる。
